For over 20 years, Ecoplas Industrial Inc. has been a proud distributor for industry leading industrial products. This includes our selection of tanks. These polypropylene tanks can be used for a variety of applications in a wide range of industries.
Saint-Gobain’s flat-bottom cylindrical polypropylene tanks are designed for durability and reliability. Constructed from high-quality virgin resins with precise CAD-based designs, these translucent tanks feature molded-in graduations for easy monitoring. Rated for use with media up to 1.8 specific gravity, their strength can be enhanced to 2.2 when paired with a fiberglass casing, which provides additional structural support and prevents bulging. These tanks offer superior performance, even under prolonged elevated temperatures, making them ideal for demanding industrial environments.
Saint-Gobain’s conical bottom polypropylene tanks are designed for complete drainage and efficient solid dispersal, making them ideal for applications requiring thorough cleaning and fluid flow. Featuring a 30° cone angle (with variations for select sizes), these tanks allow easy installation of welded or bulkhead fittings. Constructed from high-quality polypropylene resins compliant with FDA regulations, they ensure safe and reliable performance. Metal stands are required for support and easy access for operation.
Saint-Gobain’s rectangular polypropylene tanks are made for durability and reliability in applications such as plating, etching, circuit board production, and chemical processing. Rotationally molded as a seamless, one-piece design, they eliminate weak points. These tanks offer superior resistance to chemicals, impact, and abrasion. With three flange styles, they provide versatility for various industrial processes. Fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP) support casings are available for added structural integrity. Each tank comes with a cover.
Saint-Gobain’s closed dome polypropylene tanks are made for secure storage, protecting contents from contamination, spillage, and evaporation. With a domed bottom for efficient drainage and molded-in gallon and liter graduations, these tanks ensure precise volume measurements. They include a 6-inch threaded screw closure with a silicone gasket, along with a 2-inch top bung for easy access with NPS threads. Two mounting flats provide stability, and optional accessories such as Viton and EPDM gaskets, metal stands, and various fittings enhance versatility for many applications.
Saint-Gobain’s polypropylene closed dome bio tanks are ideal for medical preparation and culture growth, meeting FDA regulations for food contact under 21 CFR 177.1520(c) 3.1. Designed for convenience, the 75-liter model features a flat bottom for magnetic stir bar use and molded-in body grips for easy handling. Larger sizes (115-380 liters) include flat areas for effortless fitting installation. A large, 6-inch gasketed closure allows for easy filling and dispensing, while molded-in liter and gallon graduations provide precise volume measurements. Each tank is individually packaged to ensure quality and cleanliness.
Saint-Gobain’s sanitary conical-bottom tanks are designed for biopharmaceutical applications and other aseptic, non-metallic fluid handling needs. Made from USP Class VI, non-cytotoxic, autoclavable polypropylene, these tanks meet the highest sanitary standards and are also suitable for food and beverage use. They offer excellent resistance to dilute and strong acids and bases. Each tank comes with a silicone gasket and phenolic knobs, while sanitary ferrules are installed to customer specifications. Stands and a range of fittings and accessories are available separately to meet specific process requirements.
